Why We Still Need To Talk About 2020
I know many of us are tired of hearing and talking about the virus. It is everywhere you turn whether you like it or not, and some are wondering “how do people still have the energy to talk about it?” As a singer-songwriter some might be wondering why am I posting so much about spirituality and health all of a sudden and why not just stick to making music instead of constantly talking about this heavy subject that is all around us. I know people want a break from this, and believe me, I do too. We all do surely. No one is arguing otherwise.
The reason why this is an important subject for me personally, is because beyond being a singer-songwriter I have always been the kind of person to question the “norm” and to wonder what else is out there and how could we be better as humans. There have always been so many things that have deeply bothered me about this world and I often wondered why and how do we not see it and change things? The way most people live their lives and most of the things they value and consume have never really interested me. I’ve always been a person who values freedom, love, curiosity and honesty. And personally I feel these are not the values we are seeing in the world today, especially during this pandemic. And at this time I cannot stay silent and just go about my own life because the effects of this situation are too massive. Over the last few years I’ve had more interest in health care also, which is why I started studying and taking classes of psychology and alternative healing methods after that. The interest grew even more when two years ago I suddenly started having severe nerve pains in my body that I still deal with to this day. Because of that I do know something about what it’s like to deal with a health issue everyday, in case someone should think I’m talking from an ignorant and careless perspective.
I know some of us have lost loved ones in 2020 and 2021 because of this, and I truly empathize with them. I would never minimise the pain you have gone through if that has happened. And I see how afraid some people are, how badly they’re trying to stay safe and avoid any contact and do all they can. As if we could truly control life. And the obsessive need for control feeds into fear and that worries me much more than any virus. In children and young people especially this constant state of fear can turn into a lifelong fear of other human beings who are not wearing masks and of viruses and bacteria that are also fundamental to our very immune system. Living in California I see children of 2-years old wearing masks even when they are outside in the streets or in nature and I can only imagine what kind of outlook on life these children grow up to have. This constant fear and controlling has already caused countless of people to fall into depression, to lose their jobs, homes or businesses they spent decades building, not to mention the rise we see in suicides, domestic violence, famine and addiction. And this is all because of a virus that has a 99.7% survival rate? The repercussions of our “safety regulations” are getting out of hand, and the effects will be felt long after this virus is “gone.”
I try to look at this both from a scientific / factual point of view and a humane / spiritual point of view.
And for me personally the numbers do not equate with the measures that have been taken. People can disagree if they want, but I do want to emphasise that this opinion is based on facts of overall gobal death rates in 2020, the death rate of the virus, and studies on how countries with harsh lockdown / mask wearing regulations score against countries with much less regulations. On top of this we now have evidence of the PCR test failing to give accurate results, and lots of cases admitting the real cause of death has been something else than covid.
If people want to look at facts there are lots of them that do not make it to the front page everyday. In 2018 there were 1,5 million people who died of tuberculosis in the world, but it was mainly in poor countries so it was not worth the front page. Obesity level has shot up in the US since 2008 causing a severe national health crisis in the US, and this is simply because of the food people eat and are advertised every single day. Do we see this everyday on the front page with health officials educating people to eat more healthy? No. It’s on the news yes, but not substantially. On top of this we are now relying on vaccines from companies that have been sued many times for their products in the last decade and is publicly saying that it is not liable for any side effects or harm the vax could cause us. There is not even an FDA approval on the vax, just an emergency approval which makes it very much a trial product.
We now see the majority of European countries pausing the distribution of AstraZeneca vaccine because of a blood clot and cancer risk that has come up recently. In Finland there have only been about 800 people who have died because of covid and at the moment there are already 895 reports on harmful side effects (291 of which are severe) of the vax, yet this is not considered meaningful?? On top of this we have absolutely no idea how many more harmful side
effects people will experience years after they have taken the vax. Geert Vanden Bossche, a former virologist for Bill Gates (Doctor of medicine, expert in vaccines) even posted a public open letter on Twitter recently adressing his severe concern on the current covid vaccines and how they could potentially cause a massive population wipeout. In the end he states that he does believe a certain type of vaccine would be the best way out of this, but that the current ones we have now, will do much more harm than good.
I believe we could teach people so much important information about how to boost their own immune system in powerful natural ways, that have been studied for decades if not centuries. Unfortunately these ways would not bring money to the pharmaceutical industry, so naturally we do not learn about these ways on a daily basis in the mainstream media. There are articles here and there but only a minor percentage. Can you imagine a society that would instead of fear focus on educating people about how to live healthier happier lives on a physical, mental and emotional level? I do want to believe this will become the new norm eventually, but we still have a long way to go.
From a spiritual / metaphysical point of view I do believe we as humans are learning something very profound from this situation. 2020 gave us hell but it also gave us an opprtunity to go within when everything shut down. Slowly we are starting to wake up to our own power realising we cannot give our power to an external force wether it’s in regards to our freedom, politics, our health, job or happiness. We are the makers of our life and reality, and by waking up to this power our consciousness is evolving. Every moment we can choose what kind of life do we want to create and whether we want to base it on fear or love and gratitude towards life and all that it brings.
We are also learning one of the hardest lessons as humans, and that is the lesson of physical death. It is one of our core fears as human beings and something we naturally want to fight at all cost. From a metaphysical point of view life does not stop at a physical death, because spirituality teaches us that deep down we are so much more than just our body and mind. And eventually we all move on from the physical world. Even in science there are more and more evidence on consciousness that lingers after a physical death, and so far it cannot be explained with conventional scientific terms. Death is a lesson we all have to face with ourselves and with our loved ones. But as our consciousness evolves we understand that our life as pure consciousness is eternal.
This is also a huge subject and cannot be explained in one paragraph, at least not in a way that is relatable to many. There is so much more to this, and it all deserves a whole separate post. And I want to emphasise that I am not talking from a religious perspective as I am not a religious person myself.
Defending our own innate power and freedom is something I could talk about for days. I am tired of talking about the virus too, but I am also tired of this world being led by fear, ego and disempowerment. I always try to stay more positive with my posts and remind everyone that it doesn’t have to be this way. I believe we as humans hold so much power inside of us and it is a shame that we would let it go to waste because of everything we are taught to believe since birth.
I also want to say that I do not judge you for disagreeing with me as I believe everyone has an absolute right to choose what they think and believe in. If anything I am trying to encourage an open and respectful discussion. I am not against you or your values, if anything I am rooting for you to be healthy and happy and live your best possible life. This is what I’m always rooting for. For people to realise their true power and strip down all the layers that hold us back and tell us we should be afraid. I have always felt like if everyone else is a triangle then I am a circle. And no matter how hard I tried to fit in and have a life society wants us to have, I always wanted to break free. And I am done even trying to fit into a box. And I know there are many others who feel the same way but feel confined to do what is expected. Fortunately when we start looking, we see that there are other ways to live and I am starting to find them more and more.
This is my “short” explanation on why this is an important subject to talk about at the moment. Yes we are tired of it but it is essential. We are growing and it is painful. It always is. So the best we can do right now is educate ourselves beyond what is found in the mainstream news, have peaceful and objective communication and celebrate the fact that we are in fact going through a massive rise in consciousness and it is up to us to choose and visualise our path for the next decades. I suggest we try to rise above the fear and embrace full ownership of our health and happiness and see how much good we can create with that mindset instead.
